Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Your flight will land at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. After clearing your immigration
and baggage once you will reach at arrival lobby our representative will pick you and will assist
you for transfer and check-in at hotel.
Overnight at hotels.
Day 2: Delhi – Shimla

you will be transferred to airport in Delhi to board the flight for Shimla. Upon
arrival in Shimla, transfer to hotel.
Rest of the day free to visit around market in Shimla.

Day 3: Shimla – Sarahan (Approx. 162Kms / 5-6Hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel proceed for road journey to Sarahan through scenic tinsel towns of Kufri
and Narkanda, where you will feel the freshness in the air. Pass through the popular town of
Rampur Bushahr to enter the spectacular Kinnaur valley. As you enter Sarahan, catch a
glimpse of the majestic Kinner Kailash looming right above the village, which is said to be the
summer abode of Lord Shiva.
Arrive Sarahan and check in at hotel.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Sarahan – Sangla – Chitkul – Sangla (Approx. 125Kms / 5Hrs drive)

After breakfast start your road journey with viewing panoramic view of mountains. Arrive Sangla
and check-in at your hotel. Later continue drive to visit Rakcham and Chitkul village and get a
panoramic view of Ringrik mountain Range. Also sunset view is famous from Chitkul.
Return to Sangla for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Sangla – Kalpa (Approx. 55Kms / 1½ Hrs drive)
Breakfast at hotel and later proceed road journey to Kalpa.
Kalpa is a small village in the Sutlej river valley, above Reckong Peo in the Kinnaur district of
Himachal Pradesh, in the Indian Himalaya. Inhabited by Kinnauri people and known for its apple
orchards. Apples are a major cash-crop for the region. Enjoy the panaromic mountain view from
Kalpa.

Day 6: Kalpa – Tabo (Approx. 178kms / 5-6 Hrs drive)
After a hearty breakfast early in the morning, get ready for an exciting journey, as you will be
entering the Spiti valley today. Take the Indo-Tibet Highway and pass through the Khab bridge
that marks the confluence of Spiti and the Satluj River. The road will further lead you to Nako,
the last hamlet of the Kinnaur district. Take a short stopover at Nako Lake, after which you will
be entering the magical Spiti Valley right as soon as you cross Sumdo.
Just 3 Km after Sumdo, take a detour on the right through the gate to visit the 500-Year-Old
Mummy in the Gue Village.
After crossing the Sumdo border, stop by the “Ajanta of the Himalayas’ – Tabo Monastery, which
is the oldest continuously operating Buddhist enclave in both India and the Himalayas.
Spend the rest of the day at a comfortable in Tabo.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Tabo – Mudh Village – Kaza (Approx. 50Kms / 1 ½ Hrs drive)
Today you have a little relaxed day. After breakfast depart for Kaza but at the midway divert for
visit to Mudh village. It is again a beautiful scenic village in Pin Valley. And you can enjoy lunch
in local small restaurant in this village.
Later drive to Kaza and rest of the day free for your own activities.

Day 8: Day visit to Kibber village, Key Monastery (approx. 250Kms / 4 ½ Hrs drive)
Post early morning breakfast, go out to explore the spectacular beauty of Kaza. Visit the tourist
spots including the Key Gompa Monastery that is nestled between the mountains in a bowlshaped valley of the small village Langza in Spiti valley.
Langza lies at a whopping height of about 14,500 ft. above sea level and also considered to be
one of the highest villages in the world with a motorable road and the nearby Komic Village is
the highest village.
Hikkim is a village in the Spiti district, close to Kaza which is one of the highest year-round
inhabited locations in India.
After exploring the beautiful villages of Langza, Hikkim and Komik, return back to your hotel in
Kaza for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Kaza – Kunzun La (Pass) – Chandra Tal – Keylong (Approx. 211Kms / 7 Hrs drive)
Today it will be a long day. Post breakfast, you will be travelling moving towards the next
location which is the beautiful crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake. After passing Kunzum La
(La=Pass) you will take a right before Baltal to visit Chandratal Lake. The beauty of this place is
spectacular and you will have to park your vehicles and then trek for two kilometres to reach the
lake. The lake is situated in the Spiti part of the Lahaul and Spiti district and is also called the
“Moon Lake” due to its crescent shape. It is overlooked by the mountains on one side and a
cirque on the other. This is for information that after the sunset, the lake glitters under the starlit
sky adding to its overall charm.
Spending half an hour near Moon Lake, return at your vehicle parking and continue driving to
Keylong via small homlets on the way.

Day 10: Keylong – Sarchu (Approx. 146Kms / 3 Hrs drive)
Today we will drive from Keylong to Sarchu over Baralacha Pass (4800 m).
Upon arrival check-in at Deluxe camp in Sarchu.
Evening free to walk around in Sarchu.

Day 11: Sarchu – Leh (Approx. 250Kms. / 6-7 Hrs.)
Morning drive to Leh gives you a feeling of being in the high Tibetan Plateau. One climbs a
series of Galta loops consisting of 32 hairpin bends on the way up from Sarchu and come out in
Pang valley.
There are nice places for lunch at Pang or the nearby area.
Cross to the other side of the Pang, Tzanspo River to continue drive up to yet another plateau
for a long traverse on the legendary Moore plains. The highest of the Tibetan Plateau at 4200
Mts. Continue driving Tanglang La (5280 Mts.) the second highest motorable pass in the world
that commands breath taking views of the Zanskar range. A pleasant drive about 20 Kms brings
you to the Ladakhi hamlet, Gya, heralded by prayer flags. After crossing few more villages one
reaches the great Indus River. Further drive to Leh town, overnight at hotel. Leh: Leh is the
fascinating capital of the Autonomous Hill Council of Ladakh, also known as Little Tibet.
The important monasteries to visit in and around Leh are Shey, Thiksey, Hemis, Spituk, Shakar
as well as the Shanti Stupa, Stok Palace and main Bazaar. The Leh palace dominating the town
was the former home of the Namgyal Dynasty. The monastic festivals are very popular and
Hemis, Phyang and Lamayuru festivals in summer are visited by lot of tourists who throng to
see the Cham Dances.
Upon arrival check-in at hotel in Leh. Take a rest and get ready to roam around the Leh city
area.

Day 12: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley (Approx. 127Kms / 4 Hrs drive)
The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (the highest motorable
road in the world) at 5602 M, around 39 km from Leh. Stop here to catch the views and
memories in Khadug La.
From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks
and ridges of the Zanskar range and north to the giants of the Saser massif. It is situated in the
north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas.
The road after crosses Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River enters Nubra. Proceeds along the river in
Nubra Valley. Arrive in the afternoon at your Camp/Resort.
Dinner and overnight at Camp/resort.
Day 13: Day visit to Diskit, Hundur Sand Dunes and Turtuk (167kms one / 4hrs one way)
Morning you will drive to Turtuk village for a day excursion, Turtuk is located in the west part of
Nubra valley which dominated by Muslim papulation on the India- Pakistan border, on the way
you will see Bokdang village. Upon arrival at Turtuk explore the village, meet to some local
people and see the Muslim culture over there. Please be informing that before 1971 these
villages were under POK.

Afternoon return drives to Nubra en-route visiting Hundur and Diskit. You can see double hunk
camel in Hundur.
Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Day 14: Nubra – Pangong Tso (274kms. / 6-7Hrs.)

In the morning drive to Pangong Lake which is the largest brackish lake in Asia, with a larger
part of it extending into Tibet. The lake is 130 km long and 5 km at its widest point with half of it
running to the other side of the Indo-China border. Despite of being a salt-water lake, it freezes
completely during winter. There is no marine life here, save for a few migrating birds now and
then like gulls and brahminy ducks.
Being at the border, the furthest point one is allowed to go to, is Spangmik, about 7 km along its
western bank, but it is enough to take back the most beautiful memories of Ladakh. The very
barren-ness and vastness of the area contributes to its striking beauty. Spangmik offers
spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, and their
reflections in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lake’s brackish waters. Above
Spangmik, one can see the glaciers and snowcapped peaks of the Pangong range. Overnight in
camp
Day 15: Pangong Tso – Leh (225kms. / 5-6Hrs.)
Morning proceed for surface journey for Leh passing through Changang La pass, the third
highest motorable mountain pass in the world, Chang La Pass, situated at an altitude of 5,360
meters above sea level, is named after the Sadhu Changla Baba. In local language Tso means
Lake and La means high altitude Pass.
From Changang La drive downhill via Chemday – Karu, on the way visit Sindhu Ghat the place
for the Sindhu Darshan festival at the bank of Indus river.
Arrive Leh and check at hotel.

Day 16: Day visit to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis
Today after breakfast proceed for Leh sightseeing visiting Shey, Thiksey and Hemis in Indus
Valley

SHEY PALACE AND GOMPA: Situated on a hillock 15 Kms upstream from Leh, it was once the
residence of the royal family. According to tradition, it was the seat of power of the pre-Tibetan
kinds. A 7.5 mts high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold and the largest of its kind, is
installed here.
THIKSEY GOMPA: 19 Kms from Leh, spectacularly sited, Thiksey is one of the largest and
architecturally most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompas, containing
images, stupas and wall paintings of Buddha, which are exquisite also called mini potala palace.
HEMIS GOMPA: 40 Kms from Leh, it is the wealthiest, best known and biggest Gompa of
Ladakh. Its popularity stems from the major annual festival held here in summer. The festival is
in honor of Guru Padma Sambhava’s birth anniversary. It also has the largest Thanka in Ladakh
which is unfurled once in 12 years Hemis was built in 1630 during the reign of Singge Namgyal,
an illustrious ruler of Ladakh. It flourished under the Namgyal Dynasty for the royalty favored the
Drugpa sect, which is managed the monastery. It is divided into two, the assembly hall on the
right and the main temple on the left. The hall (Dukhang) is also used as “green room” by the
dancers during the festival. The temple is known as Tshogkhang. The verandahs have a surfeit
of frescoes, among them the Buddhist
Day 17: Leh – Delhi by flight
Today it is the time to say buy to Land of Highland Passes. In time transfer to airport to board
the flight for Delhi.
Go First Flight GO8, depart 10:30Hrs and arrive 12:00Hrs.
Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Depart Delhi
